En el año 2000, Heather Small lanzó su álbum Proud. Entre las canciones del disco se encontraba un single con el mismo nombre. Poco conocida y publicitada en España por los medios habituales, Proud es una canción llena de vida y muy adecuada para un día como hoy y, también, para todos los demás.
